Blake Shelton Finally Reveals Meaning Behind Recent Hints He Dropped To Fans

Blake Shelton fans, rejoice! The country superstar just announced the release date for his upcoming album, Texoma Shore, and you won’t have to wait too long before you can get your hands on it!

Shelton, who’s back in business as a coach on NBC’s The Voice, took to Twitter just last week to announce that his forthcoming eleventh studio album will officially be available on November 3.

“Excited to get this out!! Preorder #TexomaShore, available November 3rd!” tweeted Shelton.

The singer also took the opportunity to reveal the album art for the record, which features a sun-drenched photo of Shelton clad in plaid and standing on the shores of the album’s namesake.

As exciting as it was to get official word of Shelton’s album, the singer made sure to have a bit of fun with fans before the big announcement.

Leading up to the grand reveal, Shelton took to Twitter to drop hints about Lake Texoma, a popular body of water on the Oklahoma-Texas border.

“I got something to tell y’all but I aint making it easy this time!! Gonna have to figure this one out yourselves today,” tweeted Shelton on September 20.

From there, the country crooner proceeded to dish out some pretty fun facts about Lake Texoma in a series of four separate tweets, including how far away the body of water is from his hometown of Ada, and how far the lake spans.

In a statement announcing the record, Shelton explained why he chose to name his forthcoming album after this particular location.

“Lake Texoma has always been a place of great memories, new and old,” said Shelton in the statement according to News Ok. “I literally recorded this album on its shore so it’s full circle for me to take the love of this place and my love of country music.”

It sounds like Shelton has crafted an incredibly special album, and we can’t wait to check out Texoma Shore in just a few months!
